Jolly good!

I've been using Eakers on and off for 7 years, and have to say that they carry a remarkably large range of stuff. And prices aren't bad at all. They offer a good cheap key cutting service, though not for car keys. And yes they'll do all straight cuts free of charge in timber purchased. They will readily put right any errors on their part too. I recommend them.

Hardware and help shop

This is an amazing little store, selling everything that you could want for any DIY or home improvements. They are always willing to give you help and advice, and are great at understanding what I want (and my knowledge of DIY terms is pretty small!!!!) They sell everything from sculptures for the garden, to plumbing and even sawdust. I think (don't quote me on this) that they will cut stuff to measure for you as well. :-)
