• He sucks....and blows

  Depite Jim being an amazing artist you really are better off going elsewhere, upon arrival to my 12pm appointment i sat in the waiting room for half an hour, i was then met by his son, a very polite young man who asked if i would like coffee. at 12.50 Jim appeared with the wrong images for my tattoo so then had to disappear for what he says 20 minutes, was actually 2.10 before i was called upstairs. on the first sitting costing me £240 he literally just finished a blood line, i have been under the needle for 50 hours now with 5 other artists and none of them work quite this slowly. My next sitting was a month later which cost me another £440 we managed to get some light shading in (thats in 5 and a half hours @ £80 per hour) not including a "lunch break" which Jim said would last 20 minutes however i was sitting in the waiting room for an hour while he played on facebook with some woman who wouldnt go away while i was being tattooed, not to mention the constant cigarette breaks (in the same room i'm being tattooed in, as a non smoker, not appreciated either, especially the cannabis joints.) and incessantly boring me to death with his stories of "right and left minded people and his UFO tales, not really what i'm paying for or anything i care less about. Jim was then kind enough to give me appointment on his day off to save me waiting, i found this very kind of him and was very grateful, as i showed by tipping him £20, this is great but the day before the tattoo when i was about to leave for the 300 mile journey i mailed him to confirm to which he acted like he had no knowledge of my appointment (when he had clearly double booked me) When i had the cheek to ask for a new appointment seeing as he was unable to get back to me with a new date i recieved the biggest load of threatening and abusive messages from him not to mention slanderous comments and pure nastyness all of which have been submitted to the police and reported to enviromental agency. Jim has since returned my deposit cheque with a little note saying "bellend" on the back of the cheque, we all had a really good laugh at that and it gives you a little in site as to how pathetic and immature he is. I wont ever go back there, i have already found an equally talented artist to complete the piece for me, fortunately it wont involve paying this clown anymore money and i would strongly advise unless you dont mind waiting a year to get your tattoo finished (because it will only be done when he wants to do it, not whether you have an appointment) i would seriously say shut down your damcool browser window and find another artist who will value you as a person and a customer because as far as im concerned good art is only worth so much. ART= DAMCOOL SERVICE AND ATTITUDE = DAMPOOR. NOT RECOMMENDED.
