Good service, reasonable prices

The Ship is another classic in terms of location... it can be quite difficult to find if you haven't been before because it's situated in a narrow alley in between the high street and the cathedral. The building is ancient and the decor has been maintained to suit the age of the building.Every time I've visited this pub the service has been consistently friendly and fast and the food has been well prepared, hot and tasty. All this at fairly reasonable prices for the location. They have some good meal deals for everyone and even offers for older people. Before you visit the pretentious and expensive Micheal Caines restaurant on the opposite side of the ally pop into the Ship for a reasonably priced, traditional but very tasty meal!
