Village yarns was opened in 2007, by myself Jane and my great friend Pam, at the time we were looking to open a shop that gave great service and a good range of yarn.It has been hard work but worth it as we have met and made friends with some of the best people around. Wednesday and Saturday afternoons we have a knit and natter, or as the Saturday group call it knit and nutters, its not just a chance to get away from the family and have some time to enjoy knitting/crochet and have a chat, its more than that, as if it is a community, everyone is there to laugh, cry and support each other, I will post some of the funny stories that have happened at a later date, everyone is welcome so please come and join us at anytime.   The wool selection is amazing and the people there are so nice i only went in for a quick look abd ended up staying for there knit and knatter. I will be going again.
