Maybe you have accumulated over the years a confusing array of life insurance policies, pension plans and investments (probably purchased through a whole range of different advisers and salesman) and you wish to put in place a proper thought out structure and strategy.
Perhaps you have just inherited a lump sum and would benefit from some straightforward practical advice on the many alternatives open to you.
You might be considering moving house or reviewing your existing mortgage and just need help with sorting out the best loan options for you, from the rather bewildering range of mortgages on offer.
If you are considering starting your ‘own' pension fund using a SIPP (Self Invested Personal Pension) ready for a Drawdown Pension, you ought to talk to me first to ensure you have considered all the other options first.
You could be running your own business and need a review of the employee benefits provided for you and your employees to ensure you are obtaining value for money and meeting all the relevant regulations and legislation.
An initial consultation can usually be arranged without obligation - this then gives us an ideal opportunity to discuss your exact requirements, your needs/objectives and how our professional services can be of invaluable assistance to you in both the short and longer term.

We provide a financial planning service tailored to the individual requirements of each specific client with a flexible approach to professional remuneration.
Professional advice can be provided on an ‘ad hoc' basis to meet a specific need or through more comprehensive financial planning, providing a structured approach based on a client's specific personal and financial circumstances.
We can offer an initial discussion, without obligation, when we will describe our services more fully and explain the various payment and remuneration options.
When planning your investment portfolio, it is always worth considering the overall tax position of your holdings.
Tax-free investments can be attractive but these advantages should never encourage you to take a higher degree of investment ‘risk', just to obtain the tax concessions. One can never be absolutely certain what the future brings and changes in your circumstances may mean that your investment holdings need to be altered accordingly.
Governments have a nasty habit of changing the tax rules, sometimes retrospectively, so it is sound advice not to construct too rigid an investment portfolio. It is generally accepted that 80% to 90% of an investment portfolio's performance comes from the spread of different asset classes rather than selecting a particular fund.
The Financial Services Authority's research also confirms that past performance of an investment is not automatically a guide to future results. Keeping your fund portfolio within a fund wrapper can have substantial advantages as the saving in administration and paperwork allows clients to pursue more active investment policies, fully utilising any inexpensive fund ‘switching' facilities.
We can assist our clients with formal reviews and regular asset rebasing, so that the overall objectives and investment risk profile can be maintained or adjusted over time.
