HKB Wing Chun Kung Fu

I have been attending David Morgan’s HKB classes for a while now and can say, with confidence, that it is a very effective system that is excellent for use in self-defence, and also teaches brilliant values including respect and humbleness; this definitely shows in the classes as everyone treats each other with the respect that should be expected between members of the Kung Fu family. This class is ideal for everyone from those who simply want to do something fun for exercise or try something new to those who have a strong passion for martial arts and want to go the whole hog, it is a system that with maximum dedication and effort can be learnt relatively quickly, meaning more time can be spent mastering the technique and the principles of HKB, such as the Maximum Efficiency of Time and Space. However as I said it is also excellent for those who just want to exercise or try something new, as it is definitely a hard core work out that will leave you sweating and full of energy! It is also very interesting to learn, especially if you are interested in the history of it, there is certainly plenty of that, around 400 years worth! On top of that you will meet some great new people with similar mind sets that will welcome you with open arms and show you the respect that any humble member of the family deserves! - Martial arts, self-defence, Devon & England, UK

Female Student 6 months training so far

Was looking for something to get me fit and learn some self defence skill . I opted against a gym as I wanted something personnel and fun with skill involved. I joined the Newton abbot shaolin Kung fu centre and I haven't looked back. It's fun, interesting and useful. Sifu Morgan makes me feel I can do anything. I've learnt such good skill and it has taught me that size doesn't matter. I've become fitter and have lost weight and have found a calmer mindset . I'm enjoying learning the self defence and finding the minimum effort maximum efficiency awesome.
